Finding Comfort After Destruction

After her home was destroyed, Tetiana Dolha found herself in a modular town in Brovary before eventually relocating to Miracle Village in Kolonshchyna. Her home in Bakhmut was destroyed and remains under occupation, with no possibility of return in the foreseeable future.

“Life is comfortable; I’m satisfied with everything,” Tetiana shares. “There is constant support from psychologists, doctors, and humanitarian aid.”

Despite her age, Tetiana contributes to her new community by “helping everyone who needs my assistance.” After experiencing the destruction of her home and multiple relocations, she has found not only safety but also purpose and community that have helped her rebuild her life amid the ongoing conflict.
